About

Tiny tools, made to stay out of your way.

Tools is a growing set of 189+ free browser utilities. No accounts, no waiting rooms, no upsells. Open the page and use the tool.

What this is

Most online tools either bury you in ads before showing the actual feature, or quietly upload your files to a server you've never heard of. This site is the opposite: each tool runs entirely in your browser. Your files, numbers, and inputs don't leave your device, and there's nothing to sign up for.

What it isn't

  • It isn't a SaaS. There are no plans, no quotas, no “pro” tier.
  • It isn't collecting data. No analytics on what you upload or generate.
  • It isn't finished. New tools land here as they're built.
  • It isn't professional advice. Calculators are estimates only; for medical, financial, legal, or safety-critical decisions, talk to a qualified professional.

What's on the site

189+ tools across 6 categories:

  • Image Tools: Convert, resize, generate and design images in your browser.
  • Text Tools: Write, transform and preview text faster.
  • Health Tools: BMI, calorie, water and other personal health calculators.
  • Financial Tools: Mortgage, loan, investment and savings calculators — for everyday money decisions.
  • Everyday Tools: Dates, passwords, encoding, dice — quick utilities for daily life and the web.
  • Math & Science: Percentage, geometry, statistics and algebra — instant in your browser.

How it pays for itself

The site is supported by ads served via Google AdSense. The goal is to keep them unobtrusive: readable page first, ad second. We don't take affiliate links, sponsorships, or accept payment to recommend products in the calculators themselves. If you find a tool useful, sharing the link is the kindest thing you can do. See the Privacy Policy for how ad cookies work and your opt-out options.

Methodology & updates

Each calculator includes a short explainer with the formula, worked examples, common use cases, and an FAQ. Where formulas come from standard published methods (e.g. Mifflin-St Jeor BMR, Harris-Benedict, NWS wind-chill, Magnus dew-point, NEC voltage drop) we reference them in the disclaimer. We update tools whenever a formula changes or a standards body releases new guidance, and every page shows its last updated date.

Who builds this

This site is run by DrishLabs, a small studio that ships indie products. Reach the team at hello@drishlabs.com or via the contact page.

Tool requests

Most of the tools here exist because someone asked. Send the use case (what you're trying to do, not just “I want X”) and it goes on the list.
